Introduction – Three Inner Journeys
For us, every journey is both an external and an internal journey. When we discover new places in the world, we also learn about ourselves. This blog post series is about three internal journeys that Travel4Wellbeing its central pillars:
– conscious movement (yoga, qigong, body awareness),
– energy healing,
– and mentoring.
These activities are given a central role because each opens a unique door to self-discovery. Inner journeys that are not tied to locations, but to ourselves – yet they enrich our lives just as much as any external journey of discovery.
This first part is about how my inner journey into the world of conscious movement and energies began.
Childhood movement experiences – body language

Movement has always been my life. I started ballet at the age of two and a half. Although I loved dancing, control was often a challenge. I then tried running, horseback riding, tennis, and even golf.
Running became especially important to me: not only for athletic performance, but also because of the strange inner state it took me to. At the time, I didn't know it was called meditation – I just felt something deeper happening inside me.
Discovering Yoga – a Gift from an Indian Journey

At 18 and a half, after a trip to India, I got sick. When I returned home, I didn't want to take antibiotics, so I looked for other ways. A friend of mine recommended a yoga studio where classes were held in a room heated to body temperature.
I went – and in less than two weeks the stomach bacteria was gone. Not only did my body heal, but something deeper moved within me. I felt like I had “arrived home.” This encounter started me on the path of yoga, which today, nearly twenty years later, is present in my life in a completely different form.
The world of qigong and energies, energy healing

In addition to yoga, meditation gradually entered my life. csikung I am grateful for the physical effects of yoga, but the energetic imprints have become even more important to me. In qigong, I have found a way to consciously flow life force – that subtle energy that goes beyond the visible.
However, my connection with energies began much earlier. I lost my father when I was six years old, and this opened my search early. As a kindergartener, I secretly held mini meditations, and what I imagined almost always came true. My faith was unwavering.
Later, I studied different systems (Reiki, Shamballa), but I always felt that nature itself was my greatest teacher. Earth, water, fire, air and ether – these primal elements are also present in us. If we get out of balance, their harmony is actually disrupted.
The moment of acceptance – Bali

The moment I truly embraced this gift came in Bali. A friend of mine had a motorcycle accident and I felt I had to help. During our inner work together, not only did she heal on a spiritual level, but her physical wounds also regenerated quickly.
This reinforced the fact that I need to use what I have received – for myself and for others. I am no better than anyone else, but I have a responsibility to pass on what I have recognized.
Travel4Wellbeing – the meeting of external and internal journeys
For me, the Travel4Wellbeing It is not just about organizing trips. It is about experiencing a profound transformation through a combination of conscious movement, energy exploration, and inner work.
– Movement helps us connect with our bodies,
– energies open the invisible world,
– and nature always leads us back to ourselves.
That's why these activities are central to my journeys of self-discovery. Because every inner journey is also an outer one – and every outer journey is also an inner one.
Next part – the inner space of mentoring
In the next blog post, I will take you into the world of the third pillar, mentoring. There I will tell you why I consider presence to be the greatest gift, how I create a loving and safe environment, and how my approach differs from other helping activities.
