The gift of presence – What does mentoring give?

Introduction – The second stop on the inner journeys

mentoring second stage

In the previous blog post, I talked about how I started exploring conscious movement and energies, and why I consider them inner journeys. In addition to these, a third pillar also plays a central role: mentoring.

For me, mentoring is not simply “helping.” It is more about creating a loving space in which a person can meet themselves and safely discover their own inner resources. In this article, I will show you how I experience the process of mentoring and what distinguishes my approach from other helping activities.

The power of presence

I believe that the greatest gift we can give each other is presence. I am not present because I have the answer. I am present to fully observe the other and see together what unfolds in a given situation.

Often, just having someone really listen and be present is liberating. My guests often say that after such an encounter, the world feels “lighter.” But this lightness doesn’t come from me—it comes from them. I simply hold the space for it.

Unique approach – meeting of western and eastern paths

mentoring east west

I take a unique approach to mentoring: I combine Western psychoeducational tools with Eastern teachings and the ancient wisdom of nature.

– Psychoeducation provides conscious understanding – for example, the development of emotional intelligence or the practical application of transactional analysis.
- A Joga and that Ayurveda they show us how we can create inner balance in body and soul.
– The wisdom of peoples close to nature reminds us that the rhythm of the Earth is also within us, and our own harmony unfolds together with the order of nature.

This integrated approach forms the basis of my mentoring – I don't provide ready-made answers, but tools that allow my guests to walk their own path.

The space in which change is born

Mentoring for me always takes place in a protected energetic space. When I enter this, I feel something of a higher quality emerge – loving, pure, and safe. This space is not only a gift for my client, but also for me: together we enter a level where change is gently but surely born.

I have often experienced that in this space, realizations come that would take months or even years elsewhere. And I always know: I'm not doing it. I'm just accompanying the other person, who is walking their own path.

Travel4Wellbeing – mentoring as an inner journey

mentoring inner journey

During our travels and mentoring is always present in my programs – even if we don't sit down separately for it. A conversation on the beach, a shared moment in nature, or an evening sharing circle are all built on the same foundation: a space of presence and safety.

Just as external travel helps expand one's horizons, mentoring helps expand one's inner space. Thus, every experience becomes both a journey of discovery and an inner transformation.

Next Part – Why does inner work make real difference?

In the third part of this series, I’ll write about why I believe these inner activities, either individually or together, can make a real difference in our lives. I’ll share what my guests most often take away from me, and I’ll also share a message for those who might be connecting with me for the first time.
